Niall Horan made one lucky fan very happy by allowing her to interview him, and the results of her quick Q&A turned out to be extremely adorable.
Shy Natalie Pernick actually made Niall think pretty hard about some of her creative questions, which earned her quite a few compliments from Niall. The lucky 16-year-old came prepared with a list of questions com
piled from her friends and fellow One Direction fans after winning a contest to get to interview the star.
It's pretty awesome that her first question is Harry Potter-related—she asks Niall which house he would be in at Hogwarts. He decides that he'd be best suited for Slytherin, although he doesn't seem nearly nasty enough to be in the same house as Draco Malfoy (but perhaps he chose it because he wants Tom Felton to play him in a movie someday).
Natalie's next question was also movie-related —she asked Niall Horan what his strategy to survive The Hunger Games would be. And the singer obviously hasn't seen the movie since he says, "I'd give up because I'd get too hungry early. I'd probably die straightaway." It's pretty hilarious that Natalie responds to Niall saying that he would die by saying, "Sounds good."
Niall got asked which fictional character would be his best friend, and he chose Homer Simpson. He didn't give a reason for his choice, but perhaps he'd like to get drunk at Moe's with the cartoon character. Or maybe the way Homer also gets into trouble reminds him of his band mates.
One really funny part of the interview comes when Natalie asks Niall what he thinks of "boyfriends" when she meant to say "boy fans." In response to her flub, Niall starts singing the first line of Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend."
And there's one more hilarious moment where you can hear Louis Tomlinson in the background shouting, "Niall, We just said? in an interview that you slept with Carly Rae Jepsen!" Luckily Niall Horan doesn't get upset —he just has a good laugh about the joke. And Natalie was just so happy that Louis was there that she must have completely missed what he said, responding to his comment with a cheerful, "Hi, Louis!"
Niall is extremely upbeat and nice to Natalie during the entire interview, and she does an amazing job holding it together while talking to one of her idols. In fact, while many Directioners will send hateful messages to any girls that get close to the guys, Natalie is getting lots of positive feedback from fans. On a posting of the interview on YouTube, Directioners compliment her for coming up with interesting questions and declare that fans like her should always get to interview One Direction.
