Kim Kardashian, as much as she says she loves London, is definitely not a fan of all things British. She has been angrily tweeting about how British Airways took some of her "special items."
The airline apparently searched her bags and kept a few things she had packed. "What happened to the days when you could lock your bags," she wrote. "We need to get back to that. There's no sense of security & no trust!"
Without knowing exactly what those treasured items were, it's hard to say who is right and who is wrong. With terrorism on the rise and so many changes to airport security, some of the most seemingly innocuous items could be considered dangerous and have to be confiscated. Unfortunately for Kim, there are some rules even a celebrity can't break.
If, on the other hand, those things posed no threat to security, she has every right to be upset for not having those "special items" returned to her bags. It does seem, however, that Kim Kardashian was being a bit of diva for being angry about the search in the first place. How many times do regular people get searched in the airports today? It's inconvenient, but necessary for safety.
