Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton End Feud

Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton have made up! The long-time feud is over. The two gorgeous celebs met by accident, sources say, at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc while both were in France, attending the Cannes International Film Festival, and the rest was fate. They hugged. They smiled, reported Daily Mail. It was a tear-jerking moment. And then they talked over old times—the good times, not the not-speaking years.

Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton used to be best pals. The same age, they grew up together as little rich girls on the fringes of their parents' glamorous, jet-set lives. Or something like that, anyway. But as they matured into sexy and beautiful actresses, models and television stars, Kim's quirky career took off like a (sex-tape propelled) rocket and outstripped Paris Hilton, who had introduced her pal into show biz and the celebrity scene. Remember The Simple Life? They, perhaps, would rather not remember. Kim would probably like to put that porn tape behind her, too.

It must be the French air. Romance, and all that. Or maybe the water. Anyway, confides a source, "They really have no problem with each other; it has been a long time." Both have had career ups and downs and popularity booms and not-so-booming times. It would be fun to know what they talked about. Louboutin shoes? Reality shows? Or—a safer topic—which are the hottest films introduced at the festival? Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton have a lot of catching up to do. Hope the truce holds.
