Zayn Malik is referred to as the bad boy of One Direction, mostly for his penchant for leather coats and a bad boy style. But is he and the rest of his band trying too hard to be bad and rebellious?
According to a new interview, the boys tried, at one point, to be more "Rock N Roll" by smashing a television and a limited edition scooter.
"Everyone was saying we weren't very rock 'n' roll. I thought I'd throw a TV out of the Winnebago window," Harry said.
But their attempt at being hardcore failed as Louis said that "It didn't smash—it didn't even have one scratch on it."

Zayn Malik on the other hand tried to wreck a limited edition scooter just before it was due to be used in a video shoot.
"They had to put red nail polish on it to cover the scratches," Zayn said.
You've got to wonder if that was the same scooter that he and girlfriend Perrie Edwards were photographed kissing on before he left for the states!
Obviously, the boys are trying to be something they're not, and they shouldn't bother. They're loved by millions just the way they are. No need for bad boy clothing or rock star hotel-room-trashing.
Do you think Zayn Malik and the rest of One Direction try too hard to be "bad"?
