Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have disappointed the world—again. Or maybe they just like being teases. Rumor has it that the most famous couple in the world won't be a married couple after all. At least not for a while. Ms. Jolie and Mr. Pitt have reportedly postponed their eagerly awaited wedding. What will their six kids say?
Yes, Brangelina has put their wedding plans on the back burner in favor of Angie's super busy work schedule. The Jolie-Pitt clan is currently ensconced in luxurious digs in Richmond, South-West London, and that's where they'll stay while Angelina Jolie completes work on her latest film, Maleficent.
"Their wedding plans are in chaos," tattles a source, "after she agreed to make three movies back-to-back. Brad isn't happy that Angelina has taken on all this work as it has scuppered plans for a summer wedding. He is taking on less work to be with the children and Angelina's father, Jon Voight, is also flying to the UK to help out."
Hmmm. The prospective groom is eager to get on with the nuptials, but the prospective bride is dragging her (possibly cold?) feet. That's quite a reversal of the usual order. And Jon Voight has showed up to baby sit? What does all this mean?
If the rumor is true, then the question is: Does La Jolie want to get married at all? And if not, why not? Seriously, if, after almost seven years of togetherness and six children—three of them biological—Angie isn't sure that Brad is the guy for her, then chances are she never will be. Maybe they should just call it quits. Or not. Perhaps, Angelina Jolie is thinking about the old cliché: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." And she may have a point. There have been cases where couples have lived together for years, apparently without serious problems and then, shortly after they finally tie the knot, their relationship falls apart.
Oh well, time will tell. In the meantime, another question is: If the rumor is true, is Jennifer Aniston celebrating?
Just wondering.
