Miley Cyrus has been going for maximum shock value in her fashion choices these days, evidenced by her white jacket sans bra and pants at the recent Billboard awards. Her explanation, however, for wearing short "dresses" at big events is surprisingly mundane.
"There's always a frickin' hole in it when you're on the red carpet," she told Access Hollywood. "You leave here having to buy the thing because everyone has put their heel in the back of your train. I've learned!" Although her reason against wearing a train is understandable, it doesn't really explain such drastic resorts.
Miley Cyrus also gave a reason for the absence of her father, Billy Ray Cyrus. He's apparently one of the biggest hole-making culprits. "It'll happen on the red carpet. That's why my dad isn't here right now because he always steps on my dress. So no longer do we walk carpets together." Maybe he should at least be present when she makes her red carpet fashion choices; she would likely appear far more covered than she has of late.
