Kim Kardashian... oh Kim. The drama continues. Except, this time, it wasn't fueled by her divorce from Kris Humphries, her new romance with Kanye West or any Keeping up with the Kardashians action. British Airways was the cause of her heartburn, as the company apparently confiscated some of her sentimental items, which Kim blatantly advertised on Twitter. What they apparently didn't take, though, was one of the reality show fashionista's LBD, which she rocked in fine form during a Memorial Day weekend appearance at Harrah's Casino in Atlantic City. Despite the fact that her rapper boy was missing from her side, was K.K. influenced by his sartorial advice with her sultry dress?
Maybe, but probably not.
For The Pool After Dark party at Harrah's, Kim Kardashian flaunted her curves in a hot little number that was thigh-high short and featured a see-through lace back and a sheer peek-a-boo lace detail in the front. Perhaps it was selected with Kanye West in mind, but the glam-sexy exit seemed no different than anything else she might have worn before K.W.
Daily Mail does highlight the reports that have alluded to Kanye's trendy tips. "Kanye says she plays it safe too much so he has been trying to pick outfits for her to wear and encourage her to be more daring," a source recently revealed.
Kim Kardashian did put on quite the fashion show when she was in Europe just recently, hitting London for her fragrance promotion and the Cannes Film Festival for parties and premieres—all with Kanye West by her side.
But Kim hardly needs help in the haute style department. She's been balancing the fine line between high glamour, chic sophistication and overt sexiness for some time. Not to mention, she and her sisters Khloe and Kourtney have their own fashion line, the Kardashian Kollection. And, Kim is right on trend with her lacy back, as notables like Kristen Stewart and Kate Middleton have also recently worn the look, although their gowns were long and not "leggy" short.
In fact, it seems more likely that Kim would be the one giving Kanye some notes. After all, the rapper tends to have just one or two signature looks; black shirts and jackets and black pants--blinged out, of course, with high-dollar accessories.
