Tamra Barney and Alexis Bellino took part in a heated debate about phoniness on Tuesday's episode of Real Housewives of Orange County which led to Alexis running off in tears and the rest of the cast in shock. Tamra is never one to hide her feelings, as viewers of the show have seen. However, Alexis Bellino has accused her of being fake and acting like her friend to her face so what better way for Tamra to prove her wrong than by telling her exactly how she feels right to her face? That she did!
Tamra is now defending the "intervention" she and the rest of the cast held for Alexis while in Costa Rica. "I have never gone after Alexis, she came to me and asked me how I felt," Tamra tells Rumorfix. "When the whole cast is planning a intervention to try and get through to this girl it's gotta make you wonder. Is everyone else wrong and she is right? NO!"
Tamra has previously discussed Alexis' actions on her Bravo TV blog, claiming that she acts completely different when the cameras are rolling than she does off-camera. Could Alexis just be acting out to guarantee her camera time? Tamra says that viewers really don't understand the magnitude of the situation because a lot of issues begin off-camera.
"I never wanted to hurt her feelings or make her feel bad, but things got heated in Costa Rica and my message to her was 'be a real person, no one cares if you have money so stop talking about it' (in my loud voice), everybody was saying the same thing to her."
