Robert Pattinson may have finally spilled some serious TMI. In a recent interview, the Cosmopolis star revealed that he likes filming sex scenes—even when they're not with his light of love and Twilight co-star, Kristen Stewart. Oops. Will RPattz have some 'splainin' to do when he's reunited with his lady-love?
"People think sex scenes are much more uncomfortable than they really are," Pattinson revealed in a rent interview. "In reality you have hardly anyone on set and it is normally the crew that is more uncomfortable than anyone else because no one really wants to watch and they don't want to make you feel uncomfortable. Really, it is kind of easy. In Cosmopolis there are three sex scenes and every scene was with an actress that I met that day. The first time I met Juliette Binoche—and she is one of my favorite actresses in the world—within an hour of meeting her we had to pretend to be having sex. It is a kind of strange experience."
Well, it's refreshing to find an actor these days who has such a mature, non-hysterical, laid-back attitude towards nude and/or sexual scenes in films. Although it's refreshing, it's rather unexpected coming from Kristen Stewart's boyfriend. Robert Pattinson has often whined—er—lamented his lack of confidence in and comfort with his own body. He has even referred to himself in interviews as ugly—even though he surely must know his legions of fans would not agree. So which is the real RPattz? The self-conscious, uptight, even somewhat prudish guy who dreads doffing his clothes and leaping into bed on set, or the guy who just relaxes and does what comes naturally—even though the circumstances make it "kind of a strange experience."
Wonder which one Kristen Stewart would pick as the real Rob?
What do you think?
