Do you think Kristen Stewart has made a sex tape? Either way the Twilight and Snow White and the Huntsman actress has some strong opinions on the naughty videos that are "accidentally leaked out" to the public. Her opinions make a lot of sense.
Elvis Mitchell recently interview Stewart for Interview Magazine. The topic went to sex pretty quickly. At one point in the interview Mitchell stated to the 22-year-old actress, "...There are people who have gotten to be famous by having sex tapes of themselves out there." For example, think of One Night in Paris featuring the Hilton heiress Paris Hilton.
As shown on both Interview Magazine and Cafe Mom, Stewart replied, "Yeah, but they're lying while that video is being made. The act is in itself a lie. You're faking something. The girl is lying there, she's pretending that she doesn't know the camera's on, she's getting banged, and "accidentally" it leaks out? Everyone leaks their own sex tapes! That's a ploy to get famous—that's not about the sex."
Makes sense right? Are celeb sex tapes no more than an acting job with nudity? If any publicity is good publicity, and the celeb is willing to show some skin, sounds like a quick way to get shoved back into the Hollywood spotlight.
Kristen Stewart went on in the interview to say, "It's not like when Madonna did her Sex book, and it was an artistic endeavor where she acknowledged it and spoke about it and was so upfront about it. It's different. It's not upfront. It's not honest. It's a ploy to get famous."
While we may not see an actual tape of Stewart, maybe fans will soon have an artistic book of the actress? One with Robert Pattinson sure would make for interesting reading by older fans.
