This weekend, Joe Biden celebrated his daughter Ashley as she wed in Delaware with the Vice President on hand for the intimate gathering as his kid got married.
Joe's daughter, whose full name is Ashley Blazer Biden, was betrothed to Dr. Howard Krein in a private ceremony that took place in Wilmington on Saturday.
As such, the VP and wife Jill released a statement via his official office It said, "We're happy to welcome Howard into our family, and we wish [Howard and Ashley] all the best in their new life together."
This announcement followed the ceremony said to be both Catholic and Jewish in nature. Apparently, the nuptials were performed in front of close friends and family of both the bride of groom.
While Joe watched his 30-year-old daughter--who practices as a social worker--get married, Ashley was a vision in a fairly traditional white, sleeveless gown and long veil.
Meanwhile, her new husband wore a nice suit and a purple tie, adding a bit of sartorial punch to the occasion.
That said, both the Vice President and his wife, Jill, were suddenly able to call Howard Krein family in the state where Joe was once a U.S. Senator before he and Barack Obama were elected in 2008.
Congratulations to Ashley Blazer Biden Krein!
