Caroline Manzo is never one to hide her opinions -- whether good or bad. On last night's Real Housewives of New Jersey, Joe Giudice, who she is not typically a fan of, made a disgusting comment about Greg Bennett's body parts, which left everyone in shock.
Caroline opened up about his poor choice in words in her Bravo TV blog. "I'm probably going to get crucified for this, but I don't think he meant it with malice. Now understand that I think the remark was awful and in the poorest of taste, but I've said it before and I'll say it again, he's like a kid, he just blurts things out regardless of how it hurts."
Giudice was also drinking at the time, not that it makes it okay, but perhaps that had a little something to do with it. It is certainly debatable whether he is mean or just doesn't really think. He's put his foot in his mouth on several occasions this season, and every season. It has even been said that he seems to have a drinking problem.
Caroline Manzo went on to say, "Yes, he is a 40-year-old man, and yes he should know better, but when he said that he immediately took it back and apologized. I think he was making a poor attempt to be funny." It is true that he apologized immediately after -- and Giudice isn't known for his apologies. He also gave Greg a hug and kiss.
