Kristen Stewart has a complicated fashion history, which is still evolving. Though already an actress, she didn't measure up to local standards in middle and high school. "Not like I cared that much, but I remember being made fun of because I wasn't wearing Juicy jeans." Far from it. At the time she preferred a boyish look, reports Daily Mail. "Look at a picture of me before I was 15, I am a boy, I wore my brother's clothes, dude!"
How times have changed! Evolved, that is. Though jeans and tees still appeal to the Twilight star, now it's skinny girl jeans and shirts knotted to hug the curves. No one would think to call K-Stew a "boy".![]()
The evolution that has grabbed recent attention is K-Stew's progress into designer dresses, as a face of French fashion house Balenciaga. Now, she sees that role as more of a perk than a job. As a result of her fame and high-profile as an actress, she gets the chance to wear "really cool" items from top designers. Kristen's fans might guess she didn't use the word "items". Now, she has been named as the Glamour's Best Dressed Woman. Shock abounds.
But has Kristen changed completely? Will she sport designer duds on her frequent dashes to LAX? Will Christian Louboutins knock all the Converse sneakers out of her closet? Not likely. She dishes, in fact, that the idea of looking perfect all the time terrifies her.
So for now, expect to see Kristen Stewart wearing whatever she wants, whenever she wants. That's what she has been doing all along.
