Kim Kardashian and her sisters Khloe and the pregnant Kourtney, and even Kendall and Kylie Jenner, have developed quite an affinity for sharing adorable and sometimes quite hilarious "vintage" photos of themselves from their childhood via their social media outlets. And Kim was at it again, forgetting her divorce drama with Kris Humphries and her new romance with Kanye West for a moment and reminiscing about the past via old pics. She and her family recently visited San Diego and they all made a stop at her grandmother Mary Jo's children's clothing boutique. They were, of course, multitasking and also reportedly filming scenes for Keeping up with the Kardashians while there. That aside, there was quite the gem hanging on one of the walls in the store!
Kim, 31, tweeted a picture of herself, saying, "Look at the photo on the wall in my grandmas store Shannon & Co! I was 7yrs old."
It's really a cute, sepia-toned snapshot. But while Daily Mail comments that she's nearly unrecognizable, the 7-year-old just seems to rather look very much like a younger version of Kim Kardashian. All of her strong features and that long dark hair is there--the makeup and those faux lashes are just missing, naturally!
Kim even apparently had a love of fashion and animal print in her youth. In the pic, she's wearing a stylish sweater (for the late '80s!) that seems to bear the telltale spots of leopard. Of course, now, she and her sisters gravitate to all forms of sultry snake-skin, cheetah, leopard and more.
And, apparently, good fashion sense and that entrepreneurial spirit runs in the family, as Kris Jenner's mom, who they all call MJ, started the trend of owning a fashion boutique. Long before there were those hip DASH stores, Mary Jo had her own retail business in La Jolla!
Kim Kardashian posted another photo, too, from her jaunt to San Diego, except this time it was her posing with Grandma MJ. What a chic duo!
