Jacqueline Laurita is still dealing with some backlash from Real Housewives of New Jersey fans after what appeared to be her consoling her co-star's daughter. Teresa Giudice claimed that Jacqueline was belittling Gia and acted as if she had tortured her, which has led to Jacqueline having to defend herself once again.
Jacqueline tells Wetpaint, "I'm the first one to go to her aid. She was crying in the corner and what I was worried about was the cameras on her, filming her having this tantrum. They didn't show all of it." As always on a reality show, editing can play a big part in perception.
As for Teresa's claim that she and Caroline were trying to keep her away from Gia, she reveals, "I did have the boy that you saw there go get her mom. When she wanted her mom I told him, "Go get Teresa," so he did go get Teresa in the end."
Plus, Jacqueline and Teresa were best friends at the time. They spent a lot of time together -- kids included. "We're like family, she's talked to my kids before, I talk to her kids."
However, by now, Jacqueline has seen a completely different side of her former friend, causing her to end their friendship. In short, she says, "Teresa has a way of spinning things."
