Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga always have fans of Real Housewives of New Jersey picking sides because of their non-stop feuding. During a recent taping of The View the two's disputes, once again, forced others to take sides -- this time, it was the producers.
According to Radar Online, "The producers on The View asked Teresa if she would try to resolve her issues with Melissa, together, on the show in front of the cameras, but Teresa said she didn't feel she should do so in front of an audience." Kathy Wakile, Teresa's cousin and a friend of Melissa's, is also scheduled to be a part of the show which could have been a great thing. She typically serves as the voice of reason on the show.
After realizing the two would not go on camera together, producers decided to film them separately with Teresa's segment first which "really upset Melissa, because she thought it was unfair. She wanted to go head to head with Teresa." Is Melissa really that catty?
"Teresa discussed openly the issues she had to deal with when it comes to the other women on the cast and the way they have treated her. Whoopi was shocked by what Teresa told her about Melissa's behavior towards her in particular and in turn didn't want to return to the stage to listen to Melissa bad mouth Teresa."
Whether or not Melissa got to give Whoopi her side of the story is unknown. However, talk show guests typically don't have much interaction with the hosts before an appearance. Teresa must have went out of her way to make sure the hosts were on her side before going on. She reportedly also went to see Elizabeth Hasselbeck beforehand as well.
It will be interesting to see if Teresa will give an honest interview about the recent happenings on Real Housewives, or if she will maintain her stance as the victim and continue to pick out the flaws in everyone else.
Tune in to Teresa and Melissa's appearance on The View this Friday morning. Also, watch Teresa Giudice and the rest of the ladies every Sunday night in Real Housewives of New Jersey on Bravo at 10/9c.
