Robert Pattinson is apologizing to fans during an interview that will air later on Thursday. He claims he was a bit of a 'douchebag' during an interview in Cannes. He will appear on Canadian TV Thursday night on late night Canadian talk show host George Stroumboulopoulos's show.
According to a report from Hollywood Life, Rob confesses he suffered some temporary pretentiousness when interviewed in Cannes.
"I was really fight
ing to not look pretentious for years, and someone gives you one inch of the possibility of being pretentious, (in Cannes, where he was asked about his 'craft') and you're like grabbing it so hard, going around being the biggest douchebag," he explains.
Robert Pattinson has long been known for being one of the least pretentious actors in Hollywood so to learn of his temporary lapse into the world of pretense is quite a surprise. Fortunately he has apologized and set the record straight. That will no doubt make fans love him even more.
"I've kind of reined it in again," Rob says about his 'douchebagery.'
Are you surprised that Robert Pattinson had such a temporary fling with pretentiousness? Does it warm your heart that he doesn't want fans to perceive him in that way? It's no doubt a huge part of what his Twilight co-star and girlfriend Kristen Stewart loves about him.
