Robert Pattinson wants Twihards to know that he's completely through with the Twilight franchise, so fans better try to really savor all of his moments with Kristen Stewart in Breaking Dawn, Part 2.
It doesn't seem that any amount of money would convince hi
m to change his mind, either—according to Virgin Media, here's what the actor said about doing another Twilight movie:
''It's a relief not to put the contact lenses in. It's been absolutely awful having those stupid things in my eyes. Even if they said, 'We'll give you a billion dollars to do it again,' I don't know that I'd want to.''
Of course there could be no more Twilight movies without Robert Pattinson unless Edward Cullen gets killed off, and surely Kristen Stewart wouldn't agree to star in a movie in which that happens—fans would be absolutely devastated. So if there ever is another film in the Twilight franchise, it's going to have to focus on other characters. But unfortunately it would still be hard to create a story about Jacob and a grown-up Renesmee since it would be kind of hard to explain the absence of her parents.
Plus Stephenie Meyer would have to write a new Twilight book, and by the time it got turned into a movie, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson would be too old to play their ageless vampire characters anyway. So the whole franchise would have to get a reboot with a new cast.
So are you disappointed that Rob has ruled out doing another Twilight movie, or do you think that the best thing for the franchise and fans of it is for Breaking Dawn, Part 2 to be the end of it? And should Rob and Kristen try to ease the pain of Twilight coming to an end by trying to get cast in Fifty Shades of Grey? Sound off in the comments!
