Miley Cyrus doesn't have to worry about breaking the engagement news gently to her dad Billy Ray Cyrus. If the "Achy Breaky Heart" singer has any reservations about his daughter being too young to make a lifetime commitment, he's certainly keeping them to himself. At least publicly, he's thrilled to have Liam Hemsworth join the family.
Like so many celebrities seem to do these days, he expressed his joy on Twitter. "All I ever hoped for as a Daddy was to see my kids reach their dreams," Billy Ray wrote. "To find happiness . . . peace of mind . . . and someday know . . . true love." How sweet! As close as Miley and her dad are, his approval must mean the world to her.
Fortunately, Miley Cyrus's mom Tish shares Billy Ray's sentiment and did some tweeting of her own. "Wow! All of the LOVE pouring out for Miley and Liam is incredible! So happy for my precious baby girl and the love of her life!" Although the rest of the world may not be so optimistic about a 19 and 22-year-old being able to recognize their lifelong love, at least Miley's family is enthusiastically on board with the wedding plans.
