Justin Bieber's girlfriend Selena Gomez better watch out - the Biebs has an extremely creepy fan who wants to steal her man, and she's looking to accomplish this through a stalker-ish reworking of "Boyfriend" that has become a viral video.
Justin recently asked Beliebers to upload videos of themselves
singing his hit song about Buzz Lightyear and fondue, but they were told to change the word "boyfriend" to "girlfriend." However, one of his most obsessive fans broke the rules by completely changing the lyrics, and the result is truly disturbing.
The "fan," YouTube user wzr0713, is a brunette girl who unblinkingly stares into the camera with an incredibly creepy smile on her face before she starts the song.
She changes the beginning of Justin Bieber's tune by singing, "If I was your girlfriend/I'd drive you up the wall/question who you're with/yeah I'd always call and call."
She also switches the word "swag" with "nag" and lets the Biebs know that she'd be a much better girlfriend than Selena Gomez because she'd check his text messages; make him shave his face; and steal his house key. She's also made plans to get married to Justin and wants to name one of their kids Bartholomew. The video ends with the same disturbing wide-eyed look that she started it with.
Her performance has gone viral and has almost gotten 2 million views, and lots of people are acting like the mysterious girl in it is a real Justin Bieber fan. However, it seems fairly obvious that she's just spoofing Justin's fans and his song - some Beliebers might be crazy, but they wouldn't do something sacrilegious like completely changing up the words to one of his tunes.
The Biebs is going to choose a winner out of all the Beliebers who submitted fan videos, and lots of people think that he should pick this one. However, surely Justin wouldn't want to encourage this kind of behavior. His fans are crazy enough as it is - they've tweeted death threats at Selena Gomez and Kim Kardashian, and Beliebers went so crazy in Norway that the country almost declared a state of emergency. So it would probably be best if the Biebs didn't award a "fan" for being completely insane.
You can check out the "Girlfriend" video below. So do you think that Selena Gomez should be worried, or is this just a clever parody?
