Miley Cyrus Engaged: More People Urging for a Long Engagement

Sometimes, it is easy to forget that Miley Cyrus is only 19 years old. At such a young age, she has already accomplished more than many child stars, and not only that, the former Disney darling is getting ready to walk down the aisle! While the two have yet to set a date, many are urging the couple to take it slow.

Country singer Carrie Underwood has advised the couple to have a long engagement, something she wishes she would have done. Miley's dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, while excited, is also hoping the two give it some time before actually tying the knot.

Now, fans are speaking up, and they overwhelmingly feel the same way as both Carrie Underwood and Billy Ray Cyrus! In a recent poll, nearly 80% of those who voted think that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth should have a long engagement, while the rest don't think so. Obviously, both options have their advantages. While getting married sooner would probably make them happy, if they hold out on getting married immediately, they will be able to plan a more elaborate wedding.
