Zayn Malik of One Direction and his band mates, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson are used to bizarre stories being written about them and rumors being spread that probably aren't true. But, the most recent story about Zayn is probably the strangest of them all.
Apparently, Zayn is a Muslim (his mother is English but his father is Pakistani) and this had led some to believe that he is "pimping out Islam to his young fans."
Seriously?
Yes, seriously, though that doesn't make it any less ludicrous.
According to a scathing report, by an "Islamaphobe", Zayn is using his charm to promote Muslim beliefs and "Jihad".

"Now Schlussel comes to her main theme, which is that this is 'pimping Islam to your daughters', which she calls a 'scary thing', 'an enticing jihad', and 'dangerous'...What I find most fascinating is her next leap of logic. She says that this teenage boy is 'no dummy' and 'knows the power he has over these mindless girls and is using that influence to preach the Islamic faith to them...'. How is it that female teenagers are 'mindless' and a male teenager of the same age is 'no dummy'?" Says the site American Muslim Today.
According to the report, Zayn Malik also tweeted out an Arabic phrase which translated to: "There is no god but Allah and Mohammed is the prophet of G-d."
Obviously, this woman has an issue with Muslim's in general and is picking on Zayn Malik because he is in the public eye and has a huge influence over teenage girls.
The fact that Zayn is Muslim doesn't matter. He's not a terrorist, he's not out to kill innocent Americans and he's not out to convert fans to Islam.
This is probably the most ridiculous story so far about Zayn and it's surprising that One Directioners haven't started threatening this woman already for making Zayn sound so bad.
Do you think that this woman is making something out of nothing? Is Zayn a bad influence on One Direction's teen fans?

I thought One Direction (from the name) was Christian Band
espousing that religion. Gee odd.
