Phaedra Parks from The Real Housewives of Atlanta has been out of the spotlight lately, but she does have something big in the works. Someone named Angela Stanton decided to write a book about Phaedra, claiming that Phaedra and her husband Apollo had participated in a major fraud scam. Angela knows because she was a part of it. When she was caught, along with Apollo, they went to jail and Phaedra stayed out of jail, because she was not suspicious. Well, this new book exposes Phaedra's secret life according to Angela Stanton and she isn't holding back. This book, along with a hot article in VIBE magazine, has caused Phaedra to file a $30 million lawsuit.
In the lawsuit documents, Phaedra Parks from The Real Housewives of Atlanta explains that VIBE magazine "knowingly and purposely avoided and ignored evidence establishing the falsity of the articles, interviews, and the book prior to publishing them." Phaedra should know all about what is printed, since she herself is a lawyer and used to working with celebrities. False stories should be her expertise.
The documents also reveal that Phaedra and Angela were never friends or close in the way that Angela claims. Of course, Parks denies any involvement with the criminal activities that Angela claims. The story could ruin Phaedra's career as a lawyer, so she has plenty on the line. In addition to the $30 million, she wants VIBE to retract the articles and the book written by Angela.
Do you think it is true that Phaedra was part of illegal activity?
