People have been buzzing about the movie Rock of Ages for quite some time, as it is loaded with big-name stars. Of course everybody knows that Tom Cruise, Julianne Hough and Alec Baldwin star in the movie, but now Derek Hough has spilled that he makes a brief appearance in the film as well.
Derek, Julianne's brother, shared with E! that he was at the set one day when director Adam Shankman told him to take a seat on set. The scene may not quite have been Derek's first pick, however, as it turned out it was the set for the strip club and he had to watch his sister do some dancing. He says, "It was just funny because once she started dancing and doing the whole thing, I was like, 'I think I'm going to go now.'"
The Hough siblings have danced together plenty over the years, but watching his sister dance as a stripper was a bit too much. Fans who go to see the film once it premieres will definitely be watching for Derek Hough's cameo, and everybody is anxious to see how Julianne does in this big role. Will you be heading out to see the film?
Of course Hough fans are hoping one or both of the dancing siblings will return to Dancing With the Stars this fall for the "All-Star" season. Casting hasn't been set for that one yet, so fans will just have to stay tuned.
