Prince Harry and his brother Prince William hosted an after-party to the Queen's Diamond Jubilee that must have been a hot ticket around London. Champagne flowed at Buckingham Palace. Singer Cheryl Cole was there, and naturally, she and Harry hit it off, reports NOW Daily. Kate Middleton was almost certainly present, and Sir Paul McCartney, and dozens of o
ther big names and celebs. Paparazzi had to wait outside. But the most eligible bachelor in the room had eyes only for the popular singer.
In fact, the two—who apparently had not met before—spent much of the evening chatting about this and that, reports say, including helicopters. And Afghanistan. Prince Harry served in the desert war, back in 2007 and may go back. Cheryl Cole has entertained troops there. Afghanistan probably worked as a
real ice breaker between the two. "Harry really charmed her," reports one source. No surprise there.
Cheryl Cole, it appears, had been worried she might say "something stupid" in front of Prince Harry. Ok, not likely, since her fabulous looks and talent are enough to hold the prince's attention, right? And in fact, bystanders noticed a real chemistry between the two pair. He is 27; she's 28.
Most important, the bachelor prince offered to take the singer for a ride in his helicopter. No word on how that will turn out. Meanwhile, Prince Harry "complimented her on how she looked and they were talking and flirting for most of the night."
