Last night, the new and final season of Teen Mom premiered on MTV and, while fans were excited to see the latest developments, there were some things that fans didn't get to see entirely. One part was Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra's reunion with their daughter.
In case you missed it, on Tuesday nights episode, Catelynn and Tyler took a trip to New York to spend time with Carly for her second birthday. However, the cameras didn't actually "film" the reunion. Rather, MTV showed a montage of pictures of Catelynn and Tyler spending time with their daughter. So, why didn't MTV film the reunion?
According to Teen Mom News, Carly's adoptive parents don't like having the little girl on camera too much, including on film. As a result, Catelynn and Tyler do not show pictures of Carly and her appearances on the show are limited.
Fans certainly wish that they could see more of Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra's daughter, but it is great that her adoptive parents do allow her to have some exposure. It is even better that Catelynn and Tyler get to keep in touch with Carly!
