Rumors about Kate Middleton being pregnant have hit an all-time frenzy. The Diamond Jubilee served as a nice distraction, but now that it's over, everyone's back to wondering if and when Kate will become pregnant. Frankly, all eyes will be on Kate's womb until she actually has a baby.
Queen Elizabeth II's recent visit to Stevenage's new Diamond Jubilee Maternity Unit drew more than applause. It gave fans more cause to wonder if the Duchess of Cambridge is with child. If Middleton is pregnant, she probably won't be visiting doctors at the Lister Hospital unit, but anything to do with babies and Kate will get tongues wagging.
The Queen was probably oblivious to the gossip around her, though. Lister Hospital is a sentimental place for her: "the Queen's official opening of the [ward] comes 40 years after she opened the hospital."
Kate Middleton and Prince William were not present with the Queen during this visit, but they were with her just yesterday during the last leg of her nationwide tour. As if the Queen's schedule isn't full enough, the pitter patter of little royal feet will fill it up even more as soon as Middleton gets pregnant, that is.
