Kareena Kapoor's at it again with her catty comments and thinly veiled insults. Her target, as usual, is Aishwarya Rai, and this time she's managed to make it personal.
Kareena's most recent comments are about Aishwarya's weight. In a recent interview, she discussed the diet she's on in order to whittle her waist for an item number in her film Heroine.
It may be a trend now with some actors, but I definitely don't want to look plump or fat! Being fat is not sexy! Anyone who says that is talking crap. Voluptuous is sexy, but fat is out. Any woman who says she doesn't want to be thin is talking nonsense. It's every girl's dream.
The only person talking crap here is Kareena. And her comments are an obvious dig not only at Aishwarya's newly plump figure but at her comments at Cannes concerning her weight. Aishwarya scoffed at the idea that she was unhappy with her body, reminding an NDTV interviewer that she's never been one to embrace the idea of being a size zero (a look which Kareena Kapoor herself takes credit for popularizing in India).
Aishwarya has recently begun to lose some of her baby weight (she looked noticeably thinner at a recent London party) but Kareena for some reason decided it was still ok to insinuate that she's fat. Bebo should be careful with those remarks—any quick Google search of the "size zero" girl will show her looking less than stellar herself in the weight department. Kareena making snide comments about Aish's weight is the pot calling the kettle black—except Aishwarya has the excuse of having just had a baby!
Kareena is clearly hitting back at those comments, and in doing so she's displaying her increasingly extreme insecurity over her place in the film world. She constantly attacks Aishwarya for no reason whatsoever. Why does she do it? Does she feel threatened by Aishwarya (who isn't even making films this year)? Kareena's career is soaring while Aishwarya is content to sit at home and look after her daughter. What on earth is Kareena so afraid of?
