Once Upon a Time will be back this fall for its second season, and when it returns, it'll be time to see the aftermath of everyone remembering their fairy tale selves. Part of that will be what happens for Snow White, Prince Charming, and Emma. Will they be a nice happy family?

The audience has known all this time that Snow and Charming are Emma's parents, but now that all three of them know that for sure as well, what will happen? Ginnifer Goodwin told TVLine she's looking forward to just that: "It's the thing I'm most excited for. I can't wait to develop the relationship between parent and child (played by Jennifer Morrison)—especially now that we're all the same age." Watching the two become close over the first season was definitely among the highlights, but now, the dynamic could be very different. After all, how do you deal with finding out that this woman you recently met and became your roommate is actually your daughter and your age (oh, and that you're a grandmother too)?
It's likely not going to just be smooth sailing and a completely happy family reunion in Once Upon a Time season 2 for them. There could be some drama, as Goodwin also said, "It's the creators' choice and Jennifer Morrison's choice, but I would assume that there would be some kind of resentment there on the part of our daughter because of what she went through after we gave her up. I'm anxious to explore that." However, with magic coming to Storybrooke, they may have more to worry about than just that right away. It could be something pushed to the background for the beginning of the season while they deal with Rumpelstiltskin and Regina. Season 2 should hopefully live up to the hype after season 1, and the family relationship for Snow, Charming, and Emma could end up being a very strong part of that.
