The club where Chris Brown and Drake fought has been closed down following the hip-hop stars' brawl. In addition to Brown and Drake, Tony Parker of the San Antonio Spurs was also among the many injured. Now the NYPD has closed the nightclub named W.i.P. for unidentified violations of code.
Both W.i.P. and Greenhouse will be closed indefinitely in the wake of the fight between Chris Brown and Drake. While the brawl isn't the reason the club was shut down, there is no doubt that the high-profile fight is what focused attention on the establishment.
Even its manager, Jonathan Cantor, was arrested on two warrants that were not related to the fight. It just goes to show that occasionally there is such a thing as bad publicity if it gets your business closed indefinitely.
As to what else will happen as a result of this brawl, so far it appears that Drake may be getting arrested soon because Chris Brown has filed charges. Who knows if the club's owners will sue the hip-hop stars. It seems likely depending what happens legally with the fight. It's possible that either one or both of the stars will be responsible for the club's losses.
