Kelly Bensimon may have been fired from Bravo's hit show The Real Housewives of New York, but she is following in Jill Zarin's footsteps when it comes to using her Bravo platform to talk about the show. Since she is not filming the show now, she might as well talk about it since the current cast isn't bringing in the ratings Bravo had hoped. And she is talking about her big feud with Bethenny Frankel that had people talking—and worrying—about Kelly.
Bethenny recently wished Kelly the best when talking about her former costars on the show and Kelly is now reacting. However, she isn't saying "thanks." She is saying that Bethenny shouldn't be wishing her the best because the feuds on the show that supposedly drove them apart weren't "real." "I think it's really, really nice to acknowledge that to her new fan base, and I appreciate it for whatever it is," she explained in a new interview.
"It's very sweet of her. But at the same time, I find it very concerning, because it's a show for entertainment so for people to make a big deal out of an altercation for television, in all honesty, it's incredibly concerning for me....that people actually think that something for television is real. That's been my biggest thing," Kelly Bensimon explains. It sounds like she is indicating that the women did in fact get along and that it was all for show.
However, Kelly may be confused; there is a difference between the feuds not being "real" and the feuds being "not a big deal." Kelly and Bethenny haven't exactly gone out for coffee after the third season ended. Perhaps Kelly is just keeping things "real" and being "authentic"—something she doesn't feel Bethenny is. What do you think of Kelly's argument that the feud between them isn't real?
