As Cristiano Ronaldo heads into the huge UEFA Euro 2012 semi-finals this week against Spain, the talk so it seems is less about the soccer star's play on the pitch than the product in his hair. Cristiano's girlfriend Irina Shayk got into a bit of a Twitter war with supermodel Bar Refaeli about of all things Ronaldo's hair gel.
"The only thing I can think of when I watch Ronaldo is that hair gel should really be outlawed!" tweeted Bar Refaeli about Cristiano's uber-gelled hairdo. Of course, this brought out the claws. Nothing says Twitter catfight like one sexy supermodel being critical of another sexy supermodel's boyfriend.
"Being a hater is not a cute look. Learn to love," responded Cristiano Ronaldo's sexy 26-year-old Russian girlfriend, Irina Shayk.
Come on girls! Play nice!
"I love u and I love ur BF. I just don't like hair gel," responded Bar Refaeli. In Bar's defense, Cristiano did look like he was attacked by a large vat of Vaseline before the soccer match. Still, is it fair as a model to criticize Irina's boyfriend's choice of hair product? Odds are that Bar would probably avoid telling Cristiano Ronaldo to his face. That is probably a good thing, since Irina Shayk would probably take her down!
