Reality television is always full of controversy, but late last year, one show piled it on pretty heavy! America's Next Top Model brought back some fan favorites for an All-Star's edition. Among those who were given a second chance were Lisa D'Amato, Allison Harvard, and Angelea Preston who all made it to the final showdown. Angelea was a favorite to win, and just when it looked like the model had it in the bag, Tyra Banks announced that Angelea had been disqualified!

Now, months later, fans are still upset over the entire ordeal. Many feel that Angelea was the real winner and had her title removed for an unknown reason. Interestingly, over the weekend, the newlywed appeared to confirm fans suspicions that she was the original winner! After a fan said Angelea should have won, she replied saying, "I did."
Of course, this makes sense. Had Angelea Preston not originally walked away with the title of America's Next Top Model All-Star, why else would the producers have needed to reshoot the finale? Had Lisa D'Amato initially won, they could have gone with that take.
After news broke of Angelea's disqualification, several rumors came out as to why the disqualification had occurred, but none have been confirmed. However, over the weekend, Angelea confirmed that the reason was not because she had leaked her win before the show aired.
Angelea tweeted, "For all those who think I blabbed n told the outcome before the show aired, NOT THE CASE ! :)"
Angelea is currently seven months pregnant, and many feel that her pregnancy had something to do with her abrupt disqualification. She is adamant in letting her fans know that the truth will come out. Whatever happened, it looks as though the model feels it was very unfair and even says she no longer has respect for super model Tyra Banks.
Do you think Angelea was the real winner of ANTM? Do you have any thoughts on what may have caused the show to "play" her (as she says) and to disqualify her?
