The Real Housewives of New York star LuAnn de Lesseps may not been able to keep things civil and calm with Ramona Singer, but she sure knows how to run her mouth on the other friendships on the show, including Ramona's friendship with Sonja. Of course, LuAnn knows that Ramona and Sonja are like sisters despite a couple of ups and downs, but it sounds like LuAnn is actually jealous of their friendship. She doesn't really have any close friends on the show and she has tried to rattle Ramona on the first episode, making her look bad, but it didn't work.
"There is no doubt that Ramona and Sonja are long-time friends who know how to push each other's buttons," LuAnn writes in her official Bravo blog. "I think Ramona tries to control Sonja, but Sonja is a free spirit and often goes her own way -- even when Ramona disagrees. They seem to find a way to make their friendship work even if it wouldn't work for me," The Real Housewives of New York star LuAnn de Lesseps continues.
Of course, some fans of the show believe that LuAnn's friendship with Ramona wouldn't work because the women are too similar. They both want control in the friendships and they both want to make sure that their friends have their backs, even if they are wrong. "Ramona's outburst at Sonja during her party was all too typical unfortunately. I know that Ramona counts on Sonja to take her side, but in this case Sonja stood up for herself and for Heather, which obviously made Ramona uncomfortable. Instead of being there for her good friend, Ramona made a scene and stormed off. Selfish," LuAnn explains. However, if LuAnn did the same, LuAnn would walk out as well if she felt the situation could end up making her look bad.
