Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer may be True Blood co-stars, but they are married in real life. The couple announced their pregnancy in May, but they have now revealed that there's more than one baby on its way. They're having twins.
After Anna and Stephen first revealed the pregnancy news, Stephen didn't hesitate to express his joy. He already knows the beauty of fatherhood from his two children from a previous marriage and is ready to add to the family. "It's always amazing," he said. "I love my kids so much. And I think that the fact that Anna is pregnant just adds more crazy to the bundle of fun."
Their True Blood cronies were among the first to hear the news that their joy will be doubled. Co-star Sam Trammell was reportedly full of smiles, but quickly warned them it would be double the trouble as well. Being the father of twins himself, Sam knows what he's talking about.
"I'm so excited for them," Trammell said. "We sent them a special gift. It's so interesting that True Blood has become, like, the 'twins' show.' It's harder, having twins, but it's all we know. So we're trying to impart some decent wisdom. I told them to hold on tight!"
Once the twins are born, it should be even more interesting behind the scenes of the hit HBO series. With both actors often putting in 12-hour days while filming, the little ones will surely accompany Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer to the set. Maybe their twins and Trammell's twins can keep each other company.
