Perez Hilton is claiming Brad Pitt bought some very strange artwork featuring none other than Kate Middleton -- could it have been for "Royal Family" obsessed Angelina Jolie?
The famous Hollywood actor and actress have been in headline news tied with the Royal Family for quite some time now as a plethora of UK tabloids have claimed steadily that Jolie is obsessed with Prince William and his new bride. Now, the gossip columnist is adding fuel to the fire by claiming that Pitt has purchased an art portrait for the celebrity couple's collection that features the newest member of the royals showcased graffiti style.
According to Hilton, "Brad Pitt has reportedly just purchased three works of art from graffiti master Bambi... And the prize of the three is a portrait of Prince William and Kate Middleton with the words 'A Bit Like Marmite' plastered across their chest. Sooo deep!"
Since rumor mills reports started about Angie having an obsession with Lady Kate, there has been very little evidence to suggest that she's really over the edge. However, in light of the new art purchase, there may be some truth to the claims that Brad Pitt (as much or more than his bride-to-be) may be fueling the royal love fest.
However, it is far more likely that Pitt purchased the controversial piece of art as an investment. Bambi is being talked about as a graffiti artist as if he is the new Banksy -- and of course Brad Pitt already has at least one of his works in his art collection.
Grazia Daily claims, "The stencil on canvas was created by North London-based artist Bambi who, according to Artlyst, sold it to the Hollywood actor known for his graffiti taste (don't forget Bradders purchased a Banksy for over £100,000)."
