Countess LuAnn de Lesseps and her boyfriend Jacques Azoulay have been dating for over two years now and are ready to take a big step. They want to have a baby together. As fans of Real Housewives of New York saw on a recent episode, she has even gotten her daughter, Victoria, on board.
"We'd love for it to happen," LuAnn tells Life & Style. "I know Jacques would be a great father."
Unfortunately, LuAnn has been told that her chances of having a baby are less than 5 percent, so she's taking things into her own hands and doing what she can to raise her chances.
"After seeing my doctor, I started going to a fertility center in New York City that specializes in acupuncture, Chinese medicine and massage. Apparently, acupuncture increases your chances by like 50 percent."
Countess LuAnn has been very public for months now about wanting a baby but admits, "I've been back and forth about the whole thing over and over. But for me, the advantages of having another child and having a life with Jacques and being able to have a family with him outweigh the disadvantages."
If fertility treatments and acupuncture don't lead to a pregnancy for LuAnn, she is open to other options. "The great thing about being in your 40s these days is that there are options," LuAnn says softly. "I feel very lucky because of that."
