One Direction's Harry Styles doesn't exactly hide his reputation with the ladies, and it's clear that the young singer is sexually active. With his career on the rise and his future at stake, it's no wonder his father has concerns about the possibility of pregnancy and how it would affect his son's life.
Harry's dad, Des Styles, doesn't think fatherhood would be a good thing in any of the band members' lives at this point in their careers. "If that were to happen it would really screw things up big time," he said. "From a One Direction aspect it wouldn't be great for all sorts of reasons." Of course, there would be bad publicity since it wouldn't set a good example for the band's teenage fan base. It could also threaten to tear the team apart from a profound change in priorities.
Des has done his fatherly duty in warning Harry Styles to be careful, presumably by using birth control. Although he feels his son would do the right thing by his child if the occasion arose, he doesn't seem to feel that his son is ready for that kind of step. "I don't think it'd bother him too much if he did get a girl pregnant," he said. "He would be a responsible parent and just get on with it. I honestly think that's the way he would be."
