William Shatner can laugh about it now, but a wardrobe malfunction while going through security at LAX must have been a horrifying experience for the actor...and those who witnessed it!
Look, celebrity wardrobe malfunctions tend to be pretty exciting news (or a daily occurrence) when they happen to the likes of Nicki Minaj or Miley Cyrus. The last person on Earth one would expect to be left with his pants on the ground is Captain Kirk, Star Trek star William Shatner. But that is exactly what happened.
Shatner, who was on his way through security at LAX, headed to South Africa was pulled aside for a pat down. Unfortunately, the loose clothes that Shatner chose for his long-haul flight of 20 hours failed on him. The pat down resulted in the actor losing his pants in front of onlookers at the LAX security.
"It was awful to have people looking at me with my pants down, probably the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to me," claimed Shatner in a recent interview. He later tweeted about the incident, "My wardrobe malfunction @ LAX is making the rounds online For those that were witness I apologize. For those that kept staring shame on you!" At least William Shatner has taken an embarrassing situation and handled it with class and humor!
