Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan Give Back to Charity!

Amid all the baby talk (and baby weight talk), Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan took time to attend a special event to raise money for a diabetes charity.

Reports are that Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek were guests at a special fundraiser dinner for the charity Silver Star. The organization provides mobile diabetes units, with a new one slated to come to Mumbai.

The reason for the Bollywood stars, Ash and Abhishek, to attend the event is pretty clear. Silver Star is naming this special new mobile unit after Amitabh Bachchan who is also a patron of the charity. Talk about supporting one's own family cause!

One thing is for sure, Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek being at this fundraiser was certainly a great gesture for the charity who is trying to find a way to fight the spread of diabetes throughout the world. Clearly having mobile units which can help test, counsel, and treat those with diabetes is quite noble. This new unit is slated to debut in Mumbai in October.
