Kate Gosselin's children have been through a lot. They've spent most of their lives on television, and dealt with the very ugly, and public, divorce of their parents. So, has all the stress caused them to grow up a bit too quickly?
According to Kate, at least one of her children seems to think he's nearly an adult.
Gosselin took to Twitter to recall a strange, yet adorable, encounter she had with her son, Joel.
"Just back from running, in kitchen making protein shake. Joel walks in 'So,how was the run?' Do I suddenly have adult children? Aww, he's so old!" Kate told her fans.
It is funny to hear children say mature and adult like things. However, when they are raised around adults who speak to them more like equals, and less like babies, it's common for the children to be more articulate.
Hopefully, Joel and the rest of Kate Gosselin's eight have only picked up the lingo, and aren't too scarred by all the publicity that has surrounded their family.

Or is she so narcissistic as to think that her kids really are more special than every other child in the universe and deserve more than anyone else?
You don't hear of any other mothers of well-known multiples (The Maches, The Dilleys, etc.) who go on and on and on in the media like Kate Gosselin does.
