Justin Bieber has angered and hurt his Scottish fans by snubbing them. For the second year in a row, he's refusing to perform in their country. The Teen Dream just announced that he will not include Scotland on his upcoming World Tour which will include England and parts of Ireland but for some reason not Scotland or Wales. Oops.
Yes, according to Radio Clyde DJ Romeo who has campaigned tirelessly to bring JB to Scotland, the "Boyfriend" singer definitely has some 'splainin' to do. Romeo can't understand why the Biebs seems to have an aversion to performing in the land of tartans and kilts.
"Any top artist missing out Scotland nowadays is pretty bizarre," Romeo opined. "It is ridiculous that he is prepared to go to places like Sheffield and Nottingham and even over to Dublin, but not Glasgow. He's set to perform five or six nights in Manchester alone — you'd think he could shave off at least one there to come and see his Scottish fans. ...Beliebers from Scotland will be blubbing at this devastating news."
Whether Scottish beliebers blub or not, their idol hasn't set foot on their shores since January 2010, and he reportedly won't change in 2013.
"This is not the first time Justin Bieber has left Scotland out of a UK tour," complains the deejay. "If we can make enough noise then maybe we can persuade his US management — but they didn't listen to our last campaign. We tried our hardest on behalf of thousands of Bieber fans but it just didn't happen, which was upsetting. It's weird that Justin Bieber is snubbing Scotland again."
Weird indeed. Perhaps, Justin should learn from his friends, Madonna and Beyoncé, both of whom are playing Scotland. After all, Justin wouldn't want his perceived Scotland diss to turn into another Indonesia, would he?
