Deena Cortese was arrested last month after cops found her in the streets of Seaside Heights, dancing around, and stopping traffic. Today, she appeared in front of a New Jersey municipal court judge to face her misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge.
Luck for Deena, who appeared at court with her parents, the judge dismissed the charge and she apologized for her actions. There's still no word on if she ever found that meatball she was looking for on the day of her arrest.
Deena didn't get off completely! She was issued a traffic summons ticket for failure to use the sidewalk. She will have to pay a $106 fine and $33 in court costs. Considering her million dollar Jersey Shore contract, that shouldn't be a problem!
Her attorney tells E! News he's "very happy with the result and I know Deena is too. She is very [appreciative] and grateful for the outcome."
"She knows she made a mistake and regrets what she did," he said. "But she is happy to be able to avoid being exposed to a criminal record."
Deena Cortese has kept a low profile since her arrest -- from the looks of it, she has definitely learned her lesson.
