Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been heating up scenes from Hollywood to New York City and even London and Cannes, and she's been playing it cool despite the seemingly ongoing divorce drama with her ex, Kris Humphries. Now Kimye has jetted to Paris Fashion Week for some haute stuff and some romantic time in the stylish French capital. But just before they took off for the City of Light, it was the couple's appearance at the BET Awards on Sunday night, July 1, in Los Angeles that had some not-so-hot reports flying around.
Rumors pegged the Keeping up with the Kardashians star as apparently being snubbed by Beyonce and more or less ignored by Jay-Z and even Kanye West. True or not, it's possible that Bey may not be the biggest fan of the reality TV show diva, given Kardashian's previous, unfavorable relationship history and her tendency to attract lots of gossip-y attention.
As Hollywood Life confirms, one psychiatrist, Dr. Carole Lieberman, even said of Bey and Jay, who are of course good friends with West, "They don't trust her motives for dating Kanye and don't want her to hurt Kanye."
So what's a girl like Kim Kardashian to do?!
It seems her main man may not be her best advocate in this case, as sources have recently revealed that Kanye West isn't interested in getting involved with any girl fights.
Well, if the Bey and K feud is actually real, then a few experts have some tips of the trade for Kardashian. Celebrity psychotherapist Dr. Gilda Carle weighed in, saying, "[Kim] can be as honest and real as possible and show herself to be trustworthy. In time, if this relationship lasts, she'll win over the naysayers. But the girl's gotta have patience, and not take personally how deeply Kanye's friends are trying to protect him."
Dr. Carle's advice really couldn't be better for someone in Kardashian's stilettos. Nothing like taking the high road--in any circumstance--to prove one's own character and eventually win over any enemies.
Relationship expert Diana Falzone had a slightly differently take on the situation, telling Hollywood Life exclusively, "Kim needs to focus on her relationship with Kanye. She cannot be concerned about whether his friends like her or not... Don't be desperate to befriend them." She also thought West should "stick up for his girl."
Regardless, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West seem to be pushing aside any negative Nancys or gloomy Guses (or possibly pessimistic Beyonces!), who have their doubts about the validity and value of their romantic relationship.
