Adam Lambert is among the artists just announced for the concert series at the 2012 Arizona State Fair. According to the concert schedule, Adam will perform on Wednesday, October 17. Some of the other headliners include Weezer, Jane's Addiction, and Karmin.
Adam was in Arizona for a concert at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe two years ago as part of his Glam Nation tour. Now he will return to the area with new music from his sophomore album, Trespassing. Although he has not started his official tour for the new album, Adam has sung at several radio concerts in the last couple of months and will also be headlining the Orange County Fair in California on July 19.
Although Adam has a lot going on with promoting Trespassing, he is also keeping busy abroad with another project—a mini-tour fronting rock band Queen. This week they performed concerts in the Ukraine and Russia. The next concert will be in Poland on Saturday, followed by three shows in London, ending on July 14.
For those interested in seeing Adam Lambert at the Arizona State Fair in October, general admission seating is free with Fair admission. However, there will also be reserved seats available for $20 at Ticketmaster and the Coliseum Box Office starting September 15, 2012 at 10am.

The biggest problem Adam will have with this venue is that fair admissions are limited because of safety--when tickets are gone, they're gone, and not everyone who attends the fair will attend the concert.
A note for Glamberts who may want to attend from outside the Phoenix metro/Arizona area: you will want to buy your tickets online (just save three for me, my mom, and my dad!), and don't sell yourself short by coming for Adam and then fleeing. The fair is a lot of fun--give yourself 2-3 hours minimum to look around, ride rides, etc. before the concert. My dad and I went to see Bret Michaels last year and even with his mobility impairment (another note: they don't really have seats for people with mobility difficulties, so be there early if you need accommodation), we walked around for a good three hours and had a blast.
