True Blood season 5 continues this weekend with episode 5, "Let's Boot and Rally." Bill and Eric are back in Bon Temps and will be back in Sookie's life, but will she have moved on from them to Alcide? They did hook up at the end of the last episode, and he's going to be a presence while the three are talking about Russell. Meanwhile, Terry's off with Patrick looking for answers, but what will they find?
Season 5 Episode 5 "Let's Boot and Rally" Clips
In the first "Let's Boot and Rally" sneak peek (below), Jessica tells Tara the good parts of being a vampire: "We're going to live forever. We're going to be young forever. The world, it's like wide open to us." It's good to see those two bonding. Tara is going to need someone who knows and understands what she's going through to talk to, especially with Pam as her maker. Hopefully this is a friendship that lasts and helps Tara adjust to being a vampire.
The second True Blood season 5 episode 5 clip (below) shows Molly calling Bill and Eric to let them know their countdown has begun. Their iStakes will activate at dawn. Bill thinks it's a mistake, but it's not. Molly begins a test and asks if their iStakes are glowing. They are. They're good to go, and Molly wishes them luck: "And if you don't make it, it's been rad serving you. Peace out." Bill tells Eric they don't have much time. They're on a deadline, and if they're not fast, they're going to run out of time. Those iStakes are not something they can mess with, and even though neither one of them is going to be killed off the show (could you really see that happening?), it still means there's added pressure on these two vampires to get what they need to done. What will they have accomplished by the end of this episode? How will they find a way to thwart the iStakes?
