Usher's stepson, the child of ex-wife, Tameka Foster, is in critical condition
following a jet-ski accident. According to E! Online, 11-year-old Kyle Glover was sitting in an inner tube on Lake Lanier while being pulled behind a boat driven by a 15-year-old girl.
Both children were struck in the head by a jet-ski driven by a 38-year-old man; they were transferred to Children's Healthcare in Atlanta following the accident. Alcohol was not a factor in the incident. Still, whether or not the pants will be sued off the driver is yet to be determined. The accident will only fuel the argument that jet-skis are unsafe and that more regulations need be put into place to operate them.
While Usher and Tameka Foster aren't exactly having the most amicable divorce and custody battle, the R&B singer put aside their differences during this tragic time and paid for his ex-wife to fly by jet to her son's side.
Young Kyle Glover isn't just in his mom and stepfather Usher's thoughts: Celebrities such as Russell Simmons and Fantasia have reached out via Twitter to share their prayers and support. At times like this, that and keeping Kyle in their thoughts is simply the only thing fans and friends can do, but some believe it will go a long way. Hopefully it will be a factor that saves Kyle's life and leaves him a happy, healthy 11-year-old boy.
