Kyle Richards' annual White Party was held on July 1, and already plenty of information has come out about what went down. For starters, Adrienne Maloof and Brandi Glanville reportedly made amends. Even more shocking? Two of the season 3 cast members didn't attend.
The two missing cast members were Dana Wilkey and Camille Grammer. Although they aren't official housewives, their absence was still a surprise as they have been filming with the cast for much of the season already and Kyle's White Party is a major event.
Camille and Dana's roles on the upcoming season have been speculated upon for months now. Camille announced earlier this year that she wouldn't return to the show, but later changed her mind. Dana, on the other hand, was a "friend of the Housewives" from the start but her role has been put on the back-burner after Yolanda Hadid was added to the cast and friends Marissa Zanuck, Jennifer Gimenez, and Faye Resnick began to film more.
"Camille is still very much part of the group, but her role on the show has been reduced," a show insider explains to Wetpaint. "You'll see her from time to time, but she's not as integral to the storylines as she used to be. It's completely her choice and she's very happy these days." Camille wasn't willing to show her boyfriend and her ex-husband wasn't allowing her to film either so it didn't make sense for Bravo to have her as an official housewife any longer.
As for Dana, she "has almost nothing to do with the show anymore," the insider adds. "She's still friendly with some of the women but there just wasn't room to give her more of a role."
The third season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns this fall with Kyle Richards, Camille Grammer, Dana Wilkey, and plenty more!
