Melissa Gorga has been put in a tough position this season of Real Housewives of New Jersey. Her husband and her sister-in-law had been feuding and it was all because of her--allegedly! Now, things are starting to get better between Teresa and Joe and the two couples are even planning on sharing an RV during an upcoming trip.
Melissa reveals in her blog, "Joe mentioned how the therapist said a Sunday dinner would be great for us. I really thought it was a great idea and immediately invited everyone to my house." She and Teresa got along shockingly well. Not only were they not fighting, they were actually having decent conversation.
Although fans love seeing these two finally getting along, or at least being cordial, it's hard to get used to. They've been fighting for so long, this newfound friendship just doesn't feel right.
Judging by the rest of Melissa's account of the dinner, it may be short-lived. Melissa continues, "I hope she is going to start having a more positive attitude about my marriage, my music, and my kids, and just stop overanalyzing me and everything I do. It must be draining for her to worry about me all day and worry about how we are living our life."
It may be good advice to suggest to Teresa moving forward, but if they were in a good place, should Melissa really start pointing out her flaws? Whether she's right or wrong, she should probably just leave well enough alone. Plus, with things more bearable than they've been in a while, why would she risk stirring the pot? God knows it doesn't take much to get Teresa riled up!
As for their upcoming trip, Melissa explains, "I do think sharing an RV together is a good thing! I want to dive right in." Although it sounds risky, Melissa says, "I would never do anything to sabotage this good thing we have going. So as long as Teresa doesn't, I don't see how anything could ever go wrong again."
What she seems to be saying is that things do go badly -- but it's not her fault. Is she trying to defend herself against something that the viewers haven't even seen yet?
Melissa sure sounds hopeful, but then adds, "This is how I felt when we were shooting this episode. Does it stay like that? Well you will have to keep watching and see."
Tune in for more of Melissa Gorga on next week's Real Housewives of New Jersey at 10/9c.
