In a recent interview, Robert Pattinson confessed that he lived a pretty degenerate lifestyle over the past 10 years. Yes, "degenerate" was the word he used to describe himself. Nevertheless, the Twilight heart-throb says he's changed. Maybe Rob has abandoned his erstwhile heavy-drinking, hard partying lifestyle because of his relationship with Kristen Stewart? Or not. Actually, he says he's changed his ways for a much better reason. He's worried about his health.
Yes, at the ripe old age of 26, RPattz has suddenly realized that no one--except possibly a real vampire like his on-screen alter ego Edward Cullen--can go on burning the candle at both ends forever. He believes he's at a major turning point in his life now that he's heading into the second half of his twenties.
"I think 26 is the turning point," Rob explained. "I've got to make up for 10 years of living like a degenerate. I've suddenly become conscious of being unhealthy. You've spent every bit of free time since the age of 15 in a pub. And suddenly you're like: 'Oh God, I don't want to be this grey ghost sitting there with a pot belly. I've got to get it together.'"
So, there you have it. Robert Pattinson is turning over a new leaf of clean living. Good for him. of course, KStew deserves some credit for his transformation. It was the Snow White and the Huntsman star who allegedly nagged--er--urged him to take up paddleboarding.
You go, KStew.
